How to bring CG renders to life
This workshop will be focused on high-end techniques of compositing.
Step by step will be shown how to achieve photorealism in the full CG shot and what needs to be done to get the best possible look. We will cover simple but very powerful techniques of multi-light compositing with Arnold renders, 2D relight approach to get required look. For easier control, we decided to use Crypto mattes which will give us extra ID mattes of renders.
We will use deep compositing to get all benefits and flexibility in the scene with supporting Particles. Particles in Nuke are very powerful and can help in almost every shot. At the end of the workshop will be bonus covering a couple of Nuke Particles examples, how they can give an extra little touch in the shots and some unusual highres texturing in 3D Nuke with great results.
